RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENTS

Radiofrequency treatments are a modern anti-ageing technology that stimulates the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin. Tripolar radiofrequency delivers high-frequency microcurrents to the different layers of the skin, converting the energy into heat. This activates fibroblast cells, firms the skin, improves blood circulation and metabolism, and reduces fine lines.

Ultrasound facial treatment is a gentle and safe form of treatment suitable for most skin types. However, in some cases the treatment is not recommended, to ensure that the skin and body remain in the best possible balance.

Contraindications for the treatment may include, for example:

  • pregnancy (particularly during the first trimester)
  • metal implants in the facial area
  • epilepsy
  • active cancer treatment

At the heart of the range is the balancing of the skin’s natural acidity – aciditaten – which is a key factor in maintaining skin health, protective functions and vitality.

A chemical peel is an effective treatment that renews the skin, but it requires careful preparation and aftercare to ensure the best results and safety. Please follow the instructions below carefully:

Before the treatment: Prepare your skin carefully

Avoid the sun and sunbeds
Avoid direct sunlight and sunbeds for at least 2–4 weeks before the treatment to ensure your skin is not irritated or sensitised.

Discontinue use of products that irritate
the skin Stop using the following products at least one week before treatment:

  • Retinol and retinoid products
  • AHA and BHA acids
  • Exfoliating products
  • Products that thin or exfoliate the skin

Consult a specialist
Tell your beautician about all the medicines and skincare products you use so that the treatment can be safely tailored to your skin’s needs.

After treatment: Protect and support skin renewal

Use sun protection daily
Protect your skin with an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen for 4–8 weeks after the treatment. Avoid sun exposure and solariums on the treated area throughout this period.

 Moisturise and soothe your skin
Use gentle, moisturising products containing, for example:

  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Allantoin
  • Panthenol
  • Ceramides
    This helps restore the skin’s protective barrier and prevents dryness or irritation. We recommend products from the Optimum Derma Aciditate range.

Avoid make-up and physical strain

  • Do not use make-up for 12–48 hours after treatment
  • Avoid intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms and swimming for at least 24 hours

Do not exfoliate the skin or pick at flaking skin
If the skin is flaking, do not pick at it or exfoliate it mechanically. Also avoid all exfoliating products and products containing active ingredients for at least a week.

Avoid other cosmetic treatments
Do not remove hair or book other facial treatments for the treated area until the skin has fully recovered.

BOTULINUM TOXIN TREATMENTS

Effective and natural treatment for fine lines

Botox treatments are a popular and safe way to soften facial expression lines and prevent new wrinkles from forming. The treatment helps maintain a natural and fresh facial expression, whilst reducing unnecessary tension and deepening lines.

Botulinum toxin, or Botox, works by relaxing the muscles in the treated area. As the muscle relaxes, the skin above it smooths out, and your expression appears more rested and youthful. The effects of the treatment begin to show within a few days and are at their most noticeable after about two weeks.

The results last for 3–6 months, depending on the individual, after which the treatment can be repeated. With regular treatments, the results can last longer and the lines can become less pronounced more permanently.
